Burn Permit

Burn Ban May 1 to September 30

All outdoor burning of natural vegetative materials is considered open burning and requires a burn permit from the Georgia Forestry. (Visit epd.georgia.gov for a full explanation of the rule.) You can obtain a burn permit online at gatrees.org or by calling 1-877-OK2-BURN.  

No permits are issued during the burn ban dates of May 1 to September 30.
