Jackson Trail Fire Rescue is dedicated to educating our community about fire safety. Topics covered (depending on the age of the children), are learning the sounds of a smoke detector, fire drills, stop drop & roll, fire exits, finding the meeting spot, and other great information to help everyone stay safe.
October is known as Fire Safety Month. The 1st full week of October is set aside for Fire Prevention Week. This is a time when fire departments reach out to communities, schools, churches & organizations to help with learning about fire safety.
Fire Safety Education is one of Jackson Trail Fire Rescue Department's main priority. We offer an in-person fire safety presentation, an in-person station tour, and a touch-a-truck event. If you are interested in an in-classroom virtual fire station tour, we have that, too!!
