Jackson Trail Fire Department is dedicated to educating our community about fire safety. Topics covered (depending on the age of the children), are learning the sounds of a smoke detector, fire drills, stop drop & roll, fire exits, finding the meeting spot, and other great information to help everyone stay safe.
October is known as Fire Safety Month. A full week in October is set aside for Fire Prevention Week. This is a time when fire departments reach out to communities, schools, churches & organizations to help with learning about fire safety.
Fire Safety Education is one of Jackson Trail Fire Department's main priority. We offer an in-person fire safety presentation, an in-person station tour, and a touch-a-truck event. If you are interested in an in-classroom virtual fire station tour, we have that, too!!
